I’m driving. I see this sign. I know that I have my camera with me. There’s no way that I’m going to resist this adventure.
I was taking photos of sunflowers with the sun behind me. Then I thought, let’s turn things around. In this photo, the sun is behind the sunflower, and directly in my face. Blinding, yes. I just made sure not to look directly into the camera, and prepared my settings beforehand.
This was taken in Mont Tremblant, Quebec. They have many hiking trails. The beauty of being surrounded by nature, but not off the grid, is you can hike alone and still have mobile communication to the outside world. I spoke to one woman who chose to hike there for that reason.
